22 & 23 April, 2022

Continuing work on the Harmonices Mundi series.

I am enjoying focussing on this series.

Each piece takes several days as I plan, paint and wait for parts to dry, stich; and they are at least twice the size of a postcard. I am not worried that I am not finishing a piece every day. After all, my goal to produce a postcard sized piece every day was to establish a daily art practice … and that is well an truly embedded. Every day I make art for several hours. Today I’m celebrating my new routine … by not being pedantic about posting every day!

  1. I love both of these pieces. They are an interesting combo of painterly and geometric. The experimentation and practice means more in terms of satisfaction, than the time taken which is just arbitrary. Keep going.
