I was lucky enough to get to the Gold Coast for a few days in May. Of course, drawing, painting and making were on the agenda! Precious time to devote to ‘arting’.
The shells fascinated me, and soon I was off on an adventure, to capture the essence of the scallop shells in various ways.
When I returned home, I continued to work on the little cards, and they grew into an artist’s book:
